LITTLE MIAMI RIVER
The Little Miami River is a National Scenic River that flows through five counties in southwestern Ohio and joins the Ohio River east of Cincinnati.
The river is popular among recreational paddlers and anglers. The small mouth bass fishing is among the best in the state. Visitors may see a variety of wildlife including several varieties of ducks, Canadian geese, blue herons, turtles, butterflies, and lots of plant life.

Frontier Days Festival

The Annual Frontier Days Parade and Festival May 31- June 3, 2017. The festival is located along the banks of the little Miami River. One of Clermont County’s oldest parades with over 100 entries. This The Festival will have Live Music Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from 8-12 pm., The ever popular, Frog Jumping Contest, will take Saturday at 1:30pm sponsored by All About Kids, Wards Corner. Landmarks and Attractions

Cincinnati Nature Center includes award-winning trail winding through the region’s natural habitats of Eastern deciduous forest, fields, streams and ponds. Rowe Woods, located in Milford, Ohio, spans over 1,016 acres (including 65 acres of old growth forest) and offers more than 16 miles of hiking trails. Visit the Promont museum featuring period furnishings, three levels and mansion tower, reference library, changing exhibits, and a gift shop.

There’s plenty of places to shop in Milford including Bishop’s Bicycles and Roads Rivers and Trails. When you’r done, grab some food and drink at one of the local hot spots like 20 Brix, Old Milford Parlor, the Main Cup, or Tickled Sweet. Padrino’s Pizza was voted on the best in Cincinnati and the Little Miami Brewing Company is right across the river from River Dogs Paddlesports.
